Subject: Re: [Clonezilla-live] Intel 82557/8/9/0/1 Ethernet Pro 100 (rev
10) networking card no longer supported?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's because the firmware of e100 is Non-free. The stable Clonezilla
live only uses everything from the "free" category of Debian.
To address this issue, you can use Clonezilla live 20100308-karmic in

Post by j***@let.beDear all.
Using Clonezilla 1.2.3-27, the Intel 82557/8/9/0/1 Ethernet Pro 100
(rev 10) refuses to come up.
Requesting e100/d102e_ucode.bin
e100_request_firmware: failed
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory
When using Clonezilla 1.0.9-10, the network card works without a hitch.
Anybody an idea what happened?
Kind regards,
Jürgen Depicker
